Rescue Baby Privacy Statement
Rescue Baby S.L. (“PFR”) processes personal data. We respect your privacy and our goal is to use your personal data carefully and securely within the limits of the law. In this Privacy Statement, we explain who we are and for what purpose we process your personal data, how you can exercise your privacy rights, and other information that may be of interest to you.
We have made every effort to ensure that all information is clear and readable, but if you have any questions about how we use your Personal Information after reading this Privacy Statement, you are of course welcome to contact us. In this Privacy Statement, we also tell you how you can do this.
Finally, we would like to emphasize the fact that our service offerings change, and so does our Privacy Statement. Who are we?
At Rescue Baby, it is the result of many years of experience dedicated to the safety of the child passenger from different professionals related to this specialty. In our project, people related to health, comfort, safety and rescue in case of an accident have collaborated as advisors.
What personal data does Rescue Baby collect from you?
Rescue Baby collects several categories of personal data:
- Personal and contact information (e.g. name, shipping and billing address, email address, phone number)
- Company data (e.g. postal address, tax ID and Chamber of Commerce number)
- Account information ( e.g., username and password)
- Purchasing data (e.g. date of purchase and type of product)
- Device information (e.g. IP address, language and browser settings, time zone, screen resolution and operating system)
- Details of the interaction, including images (for example, your contact with our customer service or written correspondence and, for example, images you have uploaded to help us with service requests)
When you make a purchase, we will also ask you to provide your payment details. This personal data is collected and processed directly by one of our payment providers. These external companies are responsible for processing the payment data within the limits set by law.
We receive the categories of personal data described above directly from you.

Personal Information about other people that you provide directly
You may share with us personal information about other people. For example, the address or contact information of other people when you provide us with alternative shipping addresses during the order process. We want to emphasize that it is your responsibility to verify whether those persons consent to the disclosure of their personal data to Rescue Baby.
Personal data we receive from third parties
We may receive additional personal data, for example, through social networking platforms or third party services, to the extent permitted by law. Limits set by law may require, for example, your consent in advance.
When you communicate or interact with us through social networks (for example, when you post a message, upload media, or click the “Like” button), we (or third parties acting on our behalf) may collect personal data about you (the information contained in your public profile, such as username, profile picture, gender, age range, country, etc.). We do not store this information. We use it to improve our presence on these platforms and to identify the interests and preferences of our (future) customers.
For what purposes does Rescue Baby process your personal data?
Rescue Baby collects and processes your personal data in order to fulfill the purchase contract stipulated with you, for administration, service, communication and marketing purposes (whether personalized or not), to investigate fraud, for quality control and management and to fulfill all legal obligations.

Fulfillment of a contract. To prepare, carry out, perform and (possibly) terminate a purchase contract as agreed between you and Rescue Baby.
Administration. To perform and supervise the administration of Rescue Baby in a broad sense.
Service, communication, marketing and personalization purposes. To perform customer service, to make (customized) offers, and to provide and share information about Rescue Baby activities.
Quality and management purposes. To monitor and improve the quality of services, products, processes and systems, to report to the board of directors and to conduct internal reviews.
Legislation and regulations. To identify and fight against fraud, to perform audits, to provide security in the company and to comply with laws and regulations.
What legal basis does Rescue baby use to process personal data?
The processing of personal data is only legal if it is based on legal precepts. Rescue baby uses three of these legal precepts. Our processing activities are carried out for the purpose of fulfilling a contract, for a legitimate interest of Rescue Baby or with your consent.
Fulfilling a contract. We use your personal data to take the necessary measures before signing a contract and to fulfill the contract we have signed.
Legitimate interest. We also use your personal data for the legitimate interests of Rescue Baby. In the following section, you can read more about what those legitimate interests of Rescue Baby are.
Consent. With your consent, we may use your personal data for certain marketing purposes and to help us conduct our market research. You can always withdraw your consent. The section “You can withdraw your consent later” explains how to do this.
What legitimate interest of Rescue Baby makes the processing of your personal data legal?
For Rescue Baby, it is necessary to process your personal data to create and maintain a lasting relationship with its customers, to monitor and improve our products, services and processes, and to protect its reasonable corporate interests. For example, to inform our customers about new products, services and activities, to ask our customers for feedback on our products, to prevent security issues and misuse of our applications or to protect Rescue Baby’s interests in (possible) legal proceedings.

Who does Rescue Baby provide its personal information to?
Rescue Baby may provide your personal information to outside companies in accordance with this Privacy Statement and to the extent permitted by law. Without your explicit permission, Rescue Baby does not provide your personal information to outside companies for their own marketing purposes.
These are the categories of recipients of your personal data:
Commercial service companies. To provide our services, we use external companies. For example, Rescue Baby asks a shipping company to deliver the product you have purchased or an online payment provider to handle online payments. We also use third-party companies, such as analytics firms, advertising agencies, and social media platforms, to analyze data about your use of the website, to enable personalization of the website and communications, and to display relevant offers and advertisements.
Other. Each third party company to which we, with your consent, provide your personal data (for example, in the context of a partnership) or to which Rescue Baby, now or in the future, is a party as a result of a restructuring, merger or acquisition.
If these outside companies process your data, they do so in their capacity as Rescue Baby processors. Rescue Baby has taken steps to ensure that your data is used only for the above purposes.
How do we protect your data?
We have taken technical and organizational measures to protect your data from loss, theft and unauthorized access. Due to technological advances and developments, we are continuously improving our security measures. We also recommend that you properly and correctly secure your own electronic data carriers and passwords.
Is your data transferred outside the EU?
When necessary, your personal data is transferred or processed outside the European Union. Rescue Baby has taken all necessary steps to ensure that such transfers are made only within the limits of the law.
All European countries are required to comply with the same set of statutory rules. This set of rules must ensure a uniform level of protection when processing personal data within the European Union.
Rescue Baby may (legally) transfer your personal data to other countries on the basis of the so-called “adequacy finding”. This is a decision of the European Commission which determines that the country in question ensures an adequate level of protection with regard to the processing of personal data.
The (legitimate) transfer of personal data to other countries will only take place when all appropriate security measures provided by Rescue Baby are in place.
How long does Rescue Baby keep your personal data?
Your personal data will be deleted or made anonymous when it is no longer needed for the purposes for which it was processed. In addition, we guarantee that Rescue Baby will not keep your personal data longer than the law allows.
How can you manage your personal data?
You have the right to know whether Rescue Baby is processing your personal data and, if so, to request access to a summary of such personal data and to amend and delete it. You also have the right to limit the processing of your personal data, to refuse its processing and also to the portability of the data. Below, we indicate where and how you can claim these rights.

Can you withdraw the consent you have given?

Can you file a complaint?
You can complain to the Spanish data protection agency if you have a complaint about Rescue Baby’s use of your personal data. Are you obliged to provide us with your personal data and what are the consequences of not doing so?
In some cases, Rescue Baby needs you to provide your personal data. For example, to sign a contract with you, to provide a service or to create an account. You do not need to fill in the personal data request fields that are not marked with an asterisk (*).
When it is necessary for you to provide us with your personal data, we will mark it with an asterisk (*). If you decide not to provide the requested personal data, we will not be able to sign the contract or provide the service in question. By providing the personal data in the information fields that are not marked with an asterisk (*), you consent to Rescue Baby processing these personal data.
Does Rescue Baby use profiling techniques?
We would like to communicate with you in a personal and relevant way. In order to make this possible, we package, combine and analyze personal data in order to determine the most relevant target groups and segments, content, advertising, information, times and channels and to limit contact requests.
For profiling purposes, the following personal data can be combined, analyzed or segmented into alternating combinations:
- Demographic data: this does not refer to personal data but is, for example, district level data. When a person’s demographics are packaged, that data can be converted to personal data.
- Transaction data: personal data derived from a transaction between Rescue Baby and you.
Interaction Data – Personal data that is produced by correspondence between Rescue Baby and you. For example, the products you have ordered or registered, the service requests you have created, the browser you use, the type of device you have, and other cookie identifiers. Offline interactions are also included.
- Behavioral Data: This is personal data about your behavior that is processed by Rescue Baby. For example, your preferences, opinions, wants and needs. We may collect this data, for example, by monitoring your browsing behavior on our website or your link to a social networking account. We only collect and process this information with your consent and with the help of cookies.
